Lauren's Favorite Pilates Studios in Toronto

Lauren's Favorite Pilates Studios in Toronto

I’ve been exploring some of the best Pilates studios in Toronto lately as I am opening my own studio this summer. Each place has its own vibe, but all of them provide something special that makes them worth visiting.

Ki Movement

Ki Movement is super underrated. It’s a bit of a hidden treasure, and it’s so refreshing to see how much attention the instructors give to each individual in the class. The space is intimate, and the class sizes are small, which makes for such a personal and focused experience. I always leave feeling like I’ve gotten a solid workout and that my form has really been honed in on. If you haven’t heard of it, it’s totally worth checking out.

Assembly Movement (Leslieville)

This studio has an aesthetic that’s just chef’s kiss. The space itself is beautiful—light, airy, and designed to make you feel at peace the moment you walk in. The instructors are top-notch as well; they really know how to keep the flow going and help you challenge yourself without ever feeling overwhelmed. Plus, Leslieville is such a nice neighborhood to explore before or after class, making it a full experience.

Nice Day Pilates

Nice Day Pilates is so cute. It’s like stepping into a cozy art gallery with a Pilates class in the middle of it. The walls are full of art, and the energy of the studio feels very creative and welcoming. It’s one of those places you just want to keep coming back to—not only because the classes are great but because the entire vibe of the place is just happy. It’s super underrated, and more people need to know about it!

Circle Pilates

If you’re into classical Pilates, circle Pilates is the place to go. The instructors are incredibly detail-oriented, ensuring you get the most out of each movement. The class sizes are smaller, which I really appreciate because it allows for more personalized attention. Whether you’re a beginner or more advanced, you’ll feel like you’re progressing with each session, and the atmosphere is both supportive and challenging.

Overall, Toronto’s Pilates scene is amazing. From the sleek, aesthetic studios to the smaller, more intimate ones, there’s a place for everyone. Each studio I’ve mentioned has its own unique charm, and I am so excited to open soon!
